If a site explicitly asks you to leave, leave. An argument is never worth the risk of a fine or a trespass prosecution.

• Stay one night only, arrive late and leave early.
• No awnings, tables, chairs or barbecues — that turns a stop into camping.
• Use your onboard toilet, never the roadside.
• Take every scrap of rubbish away with you.
• Park where you are not blocking gates, farm tracks or passing places.
